A Love Written in Fireworks and Forever

Kayleigh and Jacob’s love story began at the start of the summer of 2024 in the most unexpected yet meaningful way—through their church community. During a young adults’ Olympic-style games night, the two couldn’t help but notice each other from across the field. Stolen glances turned into conversation, and by the end of the night, they found themselves talking for over an hour, completely unaware of the time passing.

By the very next day, Kayleigh knew she didn’t want to wait another two weeks to see Jacob again. Acting on a mix of excitement and intuition, she invited him to join her for the July 1st fireworks show. That evening marked their first official date, and it couldn’t have gone better. From that moment on, their connection only deepened. They discovered how naturally they fit together—sharing interests, endless conversations, and dreams for the future. Their love felt safe, secure, and familiar, as if they had known each other their entire lives.

As the months passed, their relationship continued to grow stronger. Then, on January 1st, Jacob brought Kayleigh back to the place where it all began—their first date. After walking through Niagara-on-the-Lake, they found a quiet gazebo by the water. It was there that Jacob pulled out a ring and asked Kayleigh to be his wife. She said yes before he could even finish his question.

Engagement quickly turned into wedding planning as they balanced work, school, and life together. Through it all, their love only grew deeper. On August 23, 2025, Kayleigh and Jacob said “I do,” celebrating the wedding of their dreams surrounded by love and joy.
